The Spot Production – (30-60 Second Ad)

PRODUCTION PACKAGE NOTES & CLARIFICATIONS:

  • “Limited” use of graphics and digital effects indicates approximately 3 instances per 8 minutes of video. This is in addition to opening titles and closing credits which are standard for all packages.
  • “Moderate” use of graphics and digital effects indicates approximately 10 instances per 8 minutes of video. This is in addition to opening titles and closing credits which are standard for all packages.
  • “Full” use of graphics and digital effects indicates approximately unlimited instances, or all that effectively lend themselves to the final product with no extra charges.

DVD-R Disclaimer

YOUR VIDEO MUST BE SUPPLIED ON “DVD-R” DISCS- Due to the special-interest nature of this video production, commercially-pressed DVDs are not possible. Short production runs (less than 300 DVD copies) must be produced in DVD-R format instead of DVD-5 or other pressed formats. DVD-R is compatible with nearly all consumer DVD players produced in the last two years. Vision House Studio uses the best technology available and the highest quality media to distribute our programs on DVD. Each DVD is subjected to bit level error correction and is rejected if it is proven defective. If you experience errors, please try the troubleshooting suggestions below. Opening this DVD package indicates that you understand and agree to the limitations of DVD-R discs and the remedies available in the event of player incompatibility.

 

Troubleshooting DVD skips, locks or play failure:

Solution 1 - The DVD player was manufactured over two years ago. Older DVD players (and even some newer ones) have difficulty reading DVD-R discs due to the color of the media. This problem has been overcome with almost all newer players and drives. Simply try using another DVD player. The disc is most likely NOT defective.

Solution 2 - Clean the disk and laser. Laser cleaning discs are available at most retail stores.

Solution 3 - Computer has a software player that is not working properly, or is incompatible with the DVD being used. Download a free trial of Power DVD.


“It still won’t play!” - If your DVD player is just not capable of playing DVD-R discs properly, we will transfer it to VHS or miniDV tape free of charge within seven days of receipt. Alternatively, you can purchase a newer DVD player which will likely correct any errors you may encounter. IN ORDER TO GET A FREE TAPE COPY, WE MUST BE NOTIFIED WITHIN 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS OF RECEIPT OF THE DVD- NO EXCEPTIONS.
